January 2008 Schedule

We are all set to go to the printer with our January 2008 issue tomorrow, the 18th. The mailing date will be the 27th of December -- please, if you cannot locate Horses of Indiana at your local tack shop, feed store, Tractor Supply or Rural King, please have them contact us. We cannot increase the number they receive unless they call and request us to do so. We want everyone to be able to pick up a free copy, so please have your retailer contact us if need be.

If you want the convenience of having Horses of Indiana delivered to your mailbox, please call or email us. We take Visa and Mastercard, and your name will be entered into our monthly drawing pool.

January 2008 Horses of Indiana Magazine

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

I realize that this is only the 17th of December, but since this post is about our January 2008 issue, it really seemed appropriate!!

Our winners for the monthly drawings are as follows:

Congratulations to Mary Lynne Carpenter from Sheridan, her name was drawn to receive the book, "Dictionary of Veterinary Terms" by Jennifer Coates, DVM.

Congratulations to Angela Jackson from Delphi, her name was drawn to receive the Monty Roberts training video, "Load-Up".

We hope these two ladies enjoy their free gifts from Horses of Indiana magazine.

We know that things get pretty quiet during the winter months in the horse world, but we really need your help in filling our our Calendar of Events. Spring is around the corner, and things really start picking up as far as shows, events, rides, etc -- all it takes is an email or phone call to Horses of Indiana to get your event listed for free, it will reach thousands of horse people all over Indiana, as well as surrounding states.

Please remember, if at all possible, to give your business to the wonderful advertisers in our magazine -- if it were not for them, we would not be able to put out this wonderful, free publication. We all need to show our appreciation to them.

One more thing, we would like to welcome the Indiana Horse Council! Horses of Indiana and the IHC are going to be working together to help the equine industry of Indiana -- stay tuned to learn more about this wonderful union, there will be a lot of great things happening!
